Obiectivul proiectul: Ensuring food safety through sustainable preservation and packaging solutions, minimizing process contaminants.
Obiective specifice:
- Aromatic plants valorification according to the antimicrobial activity and chemical composition of the extracts, respecting the principles of ethics and the durability of production and consumption;
- Chemical characterization of plant extracts (essential oils) in order to establish the profile of active chemical compounds;
- Antimicrobial evaluation of plant extracts and correlation of the inhibitory activity with their chemical profile;
- Development of an antimicrobial packaging system for food products based on the use of natural antimicrobial agents from plant extracts (essential oils).
