The National Institute of Research and Development for Food Bioresources IBA Bucharest is implementing the project “Supporting Social Entrepreneurship Initiatives and Creating Opportunities for Sustainable Urban Development in the Modern Era – We Invest in the Community!”, currently in its second stage.
Following the business plan competition, 27 social economy entities were established in the counties of Neamț, Tulcea, Constanța, Vâlcea, and Vrancea, covering various fields of activity such as public catering, naval transport, construction, education, beauty services, hospitality, film production, and more.
Each entity receives financial support through a de minimis aid scheme and is committed to creating at least 5 jobs for people facing difficulties in entering the labor market, maintaining them for at least 12 months after the completion of this stage. Their activity is monitored monthly by designated experts.
Through this project, we support social entrepreneurship and the development of local communities, offering real opportunities for integration and sustainable growth.
