General objective: Indetification of food need/personalized nutrition in Romanian population.

Specific objective:

  • Defining population groups in terms of demografic factors. Defining and identifying the risck groups (elderly, children, persons with food intolerances and metabolic diseases)
  • Study on identifying the nutritional status and eating habits of defined population groups, inluding risk groups
  • Analysis of the potential agri-food raw material resources and their quality level in order to ensure the nutritional security of the Romanian population. Organizing focus groups and round tables with the main factors involved in the food chain
  • Identifying food availability on the Romanian market: domestic and imported food products
  • Identifying nutritional requirements for population groups defined in the project
  • Identifying correlations between the health status of the defined population groups and the food structure
  • Encouraging the domestic production of quality food with nutritional parameters that allow to prevent the risk of illness
  • Dissemination of the results
